Summary
Description25.
English: The experiment shows the conservation of angular momentum. When the experimenter keeps his arms close to his body, the moment of inertia of the body is small. When his arms are wide open, then the moment of inertia increases, while the angular velocity decreases. In that way, the product of the angular momentum and the angular velocity is constant i.e. angular momentum is conserved. Prepared, performed and explained by Prof. Oliver Zajkov at the Physics Institute at the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University of Skopje, Macedonia.
