Description
English: Underside of an acid-free box designed for holding newspapers. After being partially filled with newspapers, it was placed on top of a somewhat smaller box, and other boxes like this one were placed on top of it. The newspapers in this one were insufficient to support the shape of the box, so the portions not resting on top of the box below it gradually collapsed through a process known as creep. Picture taken at an Indiana University Bloomington building.
