In a previous version of this page, it was written that the alternative hypothesis was that all the variances are different, i.e., $\sigma_{\text{Tx A}-\text{Tx B} }^2 \ne \sigma_{\text{Tx A}-\text{Tx C} }^2 \ne \sigma_{\text{Tx B}-\text{Tx C} }^2$. This is not the alternative hypothesis. Rather, the alternative hypothesis is simply that the variances are not all equal.
